Alcester (occasional travel)
Permanent
Monday – Thursday, 7.30am – 4:30pm, Friday, 7.30am – 12.30pm / 8.00am – 13.00pm
Are you an IT Engineer with a background in enhancing an organisation's information technology through the installation, configuration, and performance monitoring of all hardware and systems infrastructure? Our Manufacturing and Engineering client is looking for a hands-on and technically astute IT Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support on a full range of IT and Communications systems. Experience of supporting ERP systems is highly desirable.

Job Description
Log and resolve tickets, fault-find and resolve IT issues
Desktop, server, and hardware/software support
Installing PC’s/Laptops
Supporting users on Office 365, Active Directory etc
Main technologies used are Windows OS (desktop 7,8,10 and server 2008. 2012+)
Experience of working on various projects (cyber security, telephone and laptop rollouts, server upgrades, server room configurations etc)

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office Systems: Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security, Azure, Defender
Experience with working with ERP Systems
Basic networking experience (switching, routing, firewalls)
Strong experience of providing 1st and 2nd line end user support (Office 365 environment)
