Central Reading - no parking but very close to the station
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading as an IT Engineer for a wonderful company with approximately 200 staff across 5 offices. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM. Hybrid working available after probation:
As the IT Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Troubleshoot and resolve various technical issues related to computing systems, networks, hardware, and software applications promptly and accurately.
Act as an escalation point by investigating complex problems and implementing effective long-term solutions.
Manage various IT projects to completion, such as migrations, upgrades, integration's, and other strategic initiatives to enhance our technological environment's stability, security, and functionality.
Provide trusted technical guidance and recommend best practices based on current technologies.
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.The successful IT Engineer will have the following related skills / experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar IT / Technical support role
Strong analytical ability
An innovative, solution-oriented professional
