About the Role:
We're seeking a dynamic Category Manager to join our client's Procurement team. The incumbent will drive financial savings and implement a procurement strategy for designated categories.
About You:
Qualified Procurement professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience
Proficient in development, drafting, structuring, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts
Key Responsibilities:
Drive implementation and review of procurement strategy with key stakeholders to align with business direction
Develop and maintain expert knowledge of key supply markets
Cultivate supplier relationships to support our client's strategy, drive innovation, and ensure best practices
Maximize ROI on spend with third parties
Ensure timely and budgetary delivery of project targets through collaboration and project execution
Challenge stakeholder requirements and educate on supply base and market dynamics for maximum benefit
Promote and deliver effective contract and supplier management practices
