Job Description

Internal Technical Sales Engineer Location: Towcester Salary: 35k -40k plus performance bonus and excellent benefits including pension, life insurance, health schemes to include optical/dental, income protection and 25 days holiday Hours: *35 hours a week, early finish Friday* Monday- Thursday: 8am-4pm , Friday: 8am- 1pm Or Monday- Thursday: 9am-5pm , Friday: 9am-2pm The job: To support the sales of a wide range of industrial sensors solutions into a broad variety of OEM market sectors to include Automation, Process/Packaging, Medical, Aerospace, Defence, Marine and Oil & Gas. * To support the external sales engineers in the issuing of quotations and the follow up calls. * To offer technical support and guidance on a Sensor suitable for the customer application. * To identify and pursue other possible Sensor opportunities from enquiries with a proactive sales approach. * To assist in managing existing accounts through ongoing contact on regular basis. * To work closely with the external sales team as deemed necessary in supporting all sales related activities. * To visit accounts as required with external sales team to assist in relationship building and understanding of their business and the application of the sensors. Skills and Experience: * Previous internal sales experience essential. * Technical bias in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with recognised qualifications preferably. * Good interpersonal & communication skills. * Team player. * Able to liaise with contacts at all levels. * Previous experience of using CRM system essential * Computer literate; proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. * Excellent verbal and written skills.
