Job Description

Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an Internal Salesperson for a highly successful independent supplier of construction products based in the East Norfolk area. Salary: £26,915 - £28,500 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm (no weekend work required) Key responsibilities of the Internal Salesperson: * Deliver new business sales and existing account development * Forge strong working relationships with all key accounts and manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules * Engage with the external sales, warehouse, and credit control teams * Efficiently deal with telephone and email enquiries and orders * Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary * Handle any customer issues and queries The preferred candidate would display the following: * Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships * A proactive approach to sales * Team player attitude * Be a confident and self-driven individual * Ability to multi-task * Strong customer service * Previous experience in a Sales-focused role * IT literacy * Ability to communicate with a range of customers and colleagues, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships Knowledge of construction products would be preferable, but not essential.
