Job Description
We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Manager role in Brentwood for a well recognised hire company in the construction hire industry.
As Internal Sales Manager, you will help create, train, develop and lead the Internal Sales & Lead Generation Team for the business.
Job Title: Internal Sales Manager
Location: Brentwood
Salary: £70K + bonus + excellent benefits
Main duties:
* Recruit, train, develop and lead suitable candidates to be successful within a new proactive sales & lean generation team.
* Champion the use of CRM and an effective sales process to qualify leads and ensure that all project and customer opportunities are known and followed through.
* Manage incoming calls from customers for information requests.
* Work with Regional Sales Managers to agree and execute proactive small and prospective customer outbound call campaigns to generate new appointment leads for Sales Engineers.
* Visit key customers with Key Account Manager/Sales Manager or Sales Engineers as required. WHY? SE role. Perhaps part of development plans / IDP’s.
* Support with customer events
* Ongoing improvement to CRM & Support the processing of sales orders.
Requirements:
* Construction/ hire related sales management experience
* Ability to balance multiple projects
* A self-starter and independent thinker
* Drive, ambition, and willingness to learn
* An analytical approach to problem solving
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
