JOB - Internal Sales Engineer LOCATION - Oxfordshire TERM - Permanent SALARY - £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (plus commission & benefits) Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company in Oxfordshire that is looking to expand its team by hiring an Internal Sales Engineer. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional with experience in engineering sales, looking to support customers and drive business growth from within the office. The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A background in mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent). Previous experience in an internal sales, technical support, or applications engineering role. Strong understanding of engineering products, components, or manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales and customer support. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts.The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve: Handling inbound sales inquiries and providing technical support to customers. Preparing quotations, proposals, and pricing for clients. Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable engineering solutions. Managing and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Supporting the external sales team with technical expertise and documentation. Liaising with the engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Updating and maintaining the CRM system with accurate customer data.
