Job Description

JOB- Internal Sales Engineer  LOCATION- Wakefield, West Yorkshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience    My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on an Internal Sales Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Yorkshire area.   The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:   • NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone • Be able to work well individually as well as a team • Previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales or manufacturing environment would be ideal • Engineering knowledge such as technical sales, torques, gears, power, machines etc.  • Be proficient with using MS Office applications  • CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage  • Training will give on both the product and sales side of things  • A Full UK Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential    The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:   • Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager • Working with customers providing technical advice and customer service • Ensuring sales requirements match customers’ needs • Preparing quotations as required • Working over the phone with customers’ • Helping to develop sales to both new and existing customers’ offering the correct solutions • Providing support to the external sales team with commercial support • Selecting the appropriate products • Working with the company CRM system   If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
