Immediate Start
Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months
Salary: £41k - Great Benefits
Location: REMOTE UK BASED
Remote - Opportunity to travel to Sites when requiredOur client is a Leading Construction firm, they are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The Internal Audit department conducts risk-based audits across our client's Group, including audits of individual business units every two years and company-wide audits of high-risk areas.
The role of the Internal Auditor, reporting to the Audit Manager, is to engage with the business to deliver the work of the Internal Audit department in a professional manner. The Internal Auditor will also act as a colleague with other members of the department.
You Will:
Prepare and execute audits, including participating and leading meetings, performing testing, evaluating evidence and writing up testing
Identify potential findings and agree their factual accuracy and potential impact with auditees
Formulate and agree action plans, including their importance and timeframes, with auditees
Follow up on the implementation of agreed actions
Facilitate business unit risk reviews About You:
The candidate will be working in Internal Audit or for a firm of accountants
Knowledge of the construction sector is beneficial, but not a requirement
The candidate will be part-qualified in a relevant accountancy or internal auditing qualification
The candidate will be able to produce high quality work and will work well as part of a team both remotely and in-person
Their written outputs will be of a high standard
The role will involve communication at all levels of the Group so well-developed interpersonal skills are required
Effective time management and planning
