About the company Not your usual engineering consultancy… This is a global design-focused organisation with offices across 8 different countries. The UK is home and 70% of the company’s work is delivered from its multiple offices in this country. Manchester is a big hub for them with over 100 staff in total and 27 members in the current building services team. If you want to work within a multi-discipline practice, this is for you! They are big on architecture and design – recognised as a leader in the industry and involved with some of the largest and most iconic projects out there, including public-realm projects and smart cities. Current projects include the restoration of the palace of Westminster, Manchester college group city centre campus and Salford University. They have a huge range of projects in different sectors including heritage, aerospace and high end residential to name a few. The successful Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will ideally be working towards CIBSE chartership, but training and support will be provided if you’re at the start of that journey.
