Interim SENCO / Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion
We are working closely with a large secondary school based in East London who are looking to appoint an Interim SENCO to cover maternity.
Key Responsibilities:
SENCO responsibilities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and EHCP's
Lead and support the SEN team effectively.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to enhance support for student needs and ensure their success.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or equivalent.
Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
Demonstrable leadership and management skills within a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships to support student development.Benefits:
