One of Morgan Law's Local government clients requires a Procurement Manager to join their team and support on a range of projects predominately within the property & housing category areas.
Duties include
Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across each of the category areas
Develop an in-depth market knowledge of suppliers to meet business needs
Introduce a robust procurement sourcing plans for the property & housing category area
Provide procurement support on a variety of construction, repairs and maintenance projects
Manage full tendering processes in line with public sector procurement regulations
Ensure that contracted services and obligations are met and manage supplier performance in relation to agreed SLAs
Essential:
Member of CIPS or qualified by experience
Experience in procurement minor works/construction, repairs and maintenance for housing or property type clients
Experienced in running end to end procurements and establishing framework agreements across a range of categories
Working knowledge of public sector procurement regulations
