Job Description

Our client in London is a NHS Trust with a large, diverse estate. They are seeking an interim Fire Safety Advisor, a key role as influencer across the Trust’s estate. This crucial role will provide expert advice and support across the Trust on matters relating to Fire Safety. Key Responsibilities include: * Provide competent, professional advice to the Trust across its estate in relation to fire strategies, management, guidance and legislation. * Develop reports and policies required to comply with legislative requirements and guidance. * Undertake and record specialist Fire Risk Assessments of premises owned, occupied or under the control of the Trust. * Development and delivery of fire safety training in line with the training needs analysis for the Trust. * Liaise with Trust managers and staff to ensure that fire safety standards are maintained at the highest level. * Investigation and reporting of all fire-related incidents and fire alarm activations. The successful candidate will possess proven experience in fire safety, preferably within a healthcare setting. You will have an in-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements. You will be an excellent communicator with interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications in fire safety are a necessity (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management, Fire Risk Assessment). This is an interim opportunity, for an initial 6-month contract with the view to extend / convert to permanent. The day rate on offer is £275.00-£300.00 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via Umbrella Company), depending on experience
