Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an interim Financial Controller.
The company:-has been established over 10 years and the group generate revenues in access of £300m. Their European operation t/o is at £200m with manufacturing and distribution operations all over the world. The design and development of their products are truly unique and some of the largest corporates in the world sell their products.
The Role:-Is to support the CFO and will be immediately involved for the day to day financial operations of the business and current projects. Managing and motivating a small team of 2 to achieve their targets and goals and acting as first point of contact for all accounting related issues. Prepare and present the management accounts incl: budget, variances, forecasts, Inter company accounting and balance sheet review and reconciliation. Implement best practices to achieve a world class accounting function and provide detailed analysis to support the decision making process.
The person:- graduate, qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with 3 to5 years previous experience as a senior manager or financial controller ideally in a supply chain, distribution, retail or a multi site European environment.Calm and collected, professional, comfortable working in a 'hands on, get involved' business where team spirit and leadership skills are essential.This could be a 3 month interim aassignmentbut could also be a permanent requirement.Comfortable meeting deadlines and prioritising the workload, looking for a challenge with real potential to develop to a more senior position.
