Helping to shape the future of finance operations within a busy and dynamic organisation, this is an opportunity for someone to join on an interim basis as a Finance Analyst. We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyse financial data, create reports, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with key stakeholders to assess financial performance, identify trends, and optimize financial processes. An Insight to Your Responsibilities:
* Analyse financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to identify trends and insights.
* Develop financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
* Prepare reports and dashboards to present financial performance to key stakeholders.
* Monitor key financial metrics and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
* Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations based on findings.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, and economic indicators.
Do You Have the Knowledge and Experience?
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or investment analysis.
* Strong background in financial modelling and forecasting.
* Proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or financial modelling software.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
* Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
Bonus Points:
* Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within a corporate setting.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
* Relevant certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are a plus
