Instrumentation Technician
Toro Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join a leading energy company. This role of an Instrumentation Technician is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical gas plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities of a Instrumentation Technician
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Conduct routine servicing of process control instrumentation, including transmitters, controllers, and analysers.
* Support and supervise vendor-specified maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Carry out equipment isolations following permit requirements for safe maintenance activities.
* Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new and existing plant facilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 4-5 years of maintenance experience with instrumentation and electrical systems.
* Recognised instrumentation qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3) with strong electrical knowledge.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to achieving results.
* IT literacy and competency in using maintenance management systems.

* Monday to Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
