Installation Engineers
An opportunity has arisen for multiple installation engineers to work throughout the UK, installing refrigerant gas monitoring equipment, refrigeration controls and energy management systems.
The role is field based and will involve travel throughout the UK (particularly the southern half) and possibly some overseas travel.
As an installation engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following.
- Undertaking the installation and commissioning of new equipment on our customers premises. The equipment is predominantly installed in supermarkets, cold storage facilities, food processing centres and various other commercial facilities
- Control panel wiring, on site modifications and fault finding
- Provide training to customers and their representatives on the equipment
The following attributes are required for a successful installation engineer.
- Previous experience of conducting field-based installations of electro-mechanical and pneumatic equipment
- Ability to follow technical drawings and manuals
- CSCS card or suitable qualifications / experience to be able to gain one
- Basic electrical knowledge
- C&G 18th Ed. / 19th Ed. & F-Gas qualification would be advantageous
- PASMA, SSSTS or CITB, IPAF certificates would be advantageous (training courses will be provided if required)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer literate
- Full UK driving licence
Package
- £35,000 - £38,000 basic salary plus overtime
- Fully expensed company van
