Inside Sales/Telesales Executive
Salary: £33k + quarterly and annual bonus
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday (on site)
Location: Totton, Southampton
Our client is seeking a Inside Sales/Telesales Executive to work in a newly formed team based in their Southampton office. Our client is an Industrial Equipment supplier that is part of Worldwide organisation and one of 3 sister companies. The telesales team has been brought in-house for the past 3 months and they are looking to add additional member to their already successful team. The team are spread across the Country but we require someone who will be based out of their Southampton office and working as part of the UK based sales team. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a large organisation with the possibilities to move into other areas of the business and across the sister companies within a marketing or alternative sales role longer term.
Position Overview:
The Inside Sales/Telesales role will support the external Sales Team by promoting lead generation sales and prospecting B2B solutions to new and existing clients. The primary objective is to generate new and enhanced business opportunities, build relationships with customers, sales engineers and customer care teams, and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Working from a large database (Dynamix) to call customers and develop business, generate leads and cross sell
Nurturing existing customers and cross sell other parts of the business
Some cold calling will be involved as and when new campaigns are run as a team
Book appointments for the sales engineers to attend and close the business
Collect customer information and record all findings on the CRM
Developing relationships with both new and existing customers on the phone
Lead generation for the wider sales team
Collaboration and communication with the entire telesales team as well as the local sales engineers to ensure that all leads are followed up and quoted
Occasional site visits with the sales engineers to meet clients won
Experience/Personal profile
Experience of working in a B to B environment
Previous sales experience over the phone (not call centre)
Have the ability to build and nurture relationships through communication over the phone
Have an excellent telephone manner
Have excellent communication skills
Be organised and have high attention to detail with notes being put on the CRM
Ability to generate leads and keep the "funnel full"
Be a team player
Ability to liaise with people from all Industrial backgrounds
