We are seeking a Injection Moulded Setter to join on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient in using various hand tools. As a Setter, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and setup of equipment, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* To set injection moulding tools in various machines and achieve high quality parts at the optimum cycle time.
* Fault finding and rectifying injection moulding processing problems in a timely manner to maintain quality and minimise scrap levels.
* Monitoring cycle times against target cycle times on a regular basis, ensuring deviations are identified and rectified in a timely manner.
* Changing and replenishing raw materials, refilling hopper loaders and day bins as required.
* How to troubleshoot issues encountered during a production run to maintain the production of good high-quality parts.
* An understanding of the importance of the first off samples, meeting both visual and dimensional specifications.
* Ensure production outputs are achieved on time and in full.
* Checking quality standards are always achieved by checking the product for defects during the machine start up and making relevant process changes.
* Conducting material and colour changes as dictated by the production schedule.
Requirements/Experience
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools.
* IMT Level 2 or higher
* Overhead Crane License
* Manual Handling
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
