Job Description

A leading manufacturer of products to the FMCG industry is currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter Technician to join their team. Part of a global organisation with over 40,000 employees, the company serves economically stable industries which experience year on year growth. Your role will be to assist in the safe, effective and efficient running of site machinery, ensuring good quality product and minimum spoilage. ***Up to £36,500, company car/cash allowance (£4,320) after 12 months, additional training / development*** As Setter Technician your duties will include: Coordinating the timely and efficient change-over of production lines from one item to the next, including mould changes, colour changes, plate / cavity changes, assembly / liner changes. Locating and rectifying line blockages and machine stoppages. Coordinating the rectification of machine breakdowns / stoppages to ensure ongoing production. Identifying and analysing faults causing machine stoppages or under performance and making repairs / improvements. Contributing to ongoing continuous improvement projects and assisting in the development of a planned maintenance programme. For the role of Setter Technician, the ideal candidate will have the following experience: Knowledge of injection moulding processes, techniques and implementation Experience of working in a similar injection moulding environment Interested!?
