Industrial Electrician
Location: Burton-on-Trent

Here at NPP. We are working with an established and reputable M&E contractor who are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join their team, supporting a range of projects across the UK. Based from Burton-on-Trent, this is a great opportunity to be part of a professional, forward-thinking organisation known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
The Role:
Working across various client sites, your responsibilities will include:
*
Surveying and assessing electrical systems on-site.
*
Creating electrical installation plans and technical drawings.
*
Installing, modifying, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.
*
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current electrical safety standards and regulations.
*
Providing technical input and supervision where required.
*
Interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.
*
Completing job sheets and accurately recording materials used.
*
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.
*
Recommending upgrades or replacements to ageing electrical systems.
*
Carrying out general maintenance and fault-finding using appropriate testing equipment.
What our client are looking for:

Solid technical knowledge and the ability to multitask.
*
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*
Ability to perform well under pressure.
*
A team-oriented attitude.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Electrical discipline.
*
Previous experience in contracting or client-facing roles would be beneficial.
