Job Description

Industrial Cleaner (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Toro Recruitment is searching for a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join their operations team in Wolverhampton. This role is pivotal in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the plant operates at the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the plant, including apparatus, floor spaces, steelwork, and cladded sections. * Minimise the accumulation of dust, rubbish, and other foreign materials on plant surfaces. * Safely operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring all apparatus remains in optimal working condition. * Identify and report any mechanical or electrical faults on cleaning equipment to the management team promptly. * Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance teams to assist with additional duties, including providing feedback on health and safety matters. Required Skills and Qualifications * Proven experience in industrial cleaning or a similar role within a heavy industry environment. * Strong awareness of Health and Safety regulations, including familiarity with the Health and Safety at Work Act. * Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive approach to maintaining plant cleanliness and safety. * Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment efficiently and safely; holding a Mobile Plant or FLT licence is advantageous. * Strong communication skills to provide health and safety observations and collaborate effectively with site management.
