Job Description
Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Central London based client to recruit for an Indirect Buyer.
Key purpose of role:
To source services and products at competitive price and manage risk through using effective category and contract management.
Key Accountabilities:
Conduct category management reviews.
Conduct tendering and benchmarking exercises in line with the category strategy.
Ensure all contracts are in place with suppliers.
Ensure all suppliers are compliant to company policies.
Engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements.
Monitor suppliers to ensure they are delivering in line with expectations and agreements.
Communicate any changes which are likely to impact the business.
Skills and Experience required:
Negotiation.
Commercial acumen.
Process orientated.
Strong IT skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills.
Degree and or CIPS qualified.
Previous experience at Buyer level of at least 3 years.
