Job Description

HVAC Project Manager required for our client who are a specialist HVAC contractor based near Walsall, our client has an outstanding reputation for their design & installation packages throughout the Midlands & the surrounding areas. Our client is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to join their successful and expanding projects team, the ideal candidate should be based within a commutable distance of the company's office in Aldridge. The Project Manager will be required to deliver pre-packaged projects within the commercial sector across the Midlands and further afield. Project values will vary from £10K - £200k and the Project Manager can expect to handle multiple projects at any one time. The Project Manager will be running projects from order to handover. The company has a specialist team completing the pricing and design. All the projects will consist of installation from VRV's, VRF's, Splits, Multi Splits to Chillers & Ventilation systems. HVAC Project Manager Job Overview Manage the installation of HVAC & Mechanical Projects. Attend Client site meetings and manage contract variations which may occur during the project Support the specialist teams covering design and pricing Attend and report on pre-start meetings and subsequent meetings throughout the contract Plan, manage & cost of resources (including materials) both subcontract and direct labour Create Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Operation & Maintenance manuals Ensure Work is completed within target dates, budgets and Snag free Deal with Contract Variations Managing a number of projects ranging from £20k to £200k HVAC Project Manager Job Requirements Previous experience within the air conditioning industry Ability to manage projects from order to completion including all labour & Material requirements ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services (HVAC) is preferred but not essential CSCS Card Holder Candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong professional relationships and project management The successful individual must be competent with working from CAD drawings HVAC Project Manager Salary & Benefits Basic salary up to £45-50k negotiable dependent upon experience.
