Job Description
GSL Education are working alongside a school in Tameside (M34) to find a Humanities Teacher to deliver specifically History to KS3 , and KS4. However any Teaching specialism in Humanities is encouraged to apply as the school can accommodate. The school offers a range of bespoke high quality educational care for young people within a safe and homely environment and has been specifically designed to support individuals in leading active and independent lives.
With dedicated staff,; they provide a supportive, safe and happy environment where all young people make progress regardless of ability level.
Humanities teacher responsibilities:
To deliver high quality learning that engages the children and ensures solid understanding
To have excellent subject knowledge
Communicate well and establish excellent relationships across the school community
Commitment to teamwork with a proactive approach
Excellent behaviour management skills
Well organised, efficient and professional
To be an inspirational, reflective and empathetic practitioner
Qualification/experience:
● Relevant teaching qualification with QTS or the equivalent- as this is an independent school it is at their discretion if you need to have QTS or not
