History Teacher – Secondary School (South West London)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in South West London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a committed ECT to make a real impact on students’ learning and historical understanding.
The Role:
Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking and debate
Plan and assess effectively to ensure excellent student progress
Use creative teaching methods to bring history to life, making connections between the past and present
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, trips, and history-related events
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching History at secondary school level
A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A passion for developing historical curiosity and analytical thinking in students
