Highways Contracts Manager Opportunity Location: Edinburgh Salary: Up to £75,000 About the Role: As a Highways Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering successful highways contracts across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. You'll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while fostering excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: ·Manage multiple highways projects, ensuring delivery meets client expectations and contractual requirements. ·Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and budget control. ·Monitor and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards across all sites. ·Lead and mentor project teams, subcontractors, and support staff. ·Conduct contract reviews and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations. ·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. ·Identify and manage project risks, providing solutions to potential challenges. What We're Looking For: ·Must have strong experience in highways construction or maintenance projects. ·Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. ·Knowledge of NEC or other relevant contract frameworks. ·Excellent leadership and team management skills. ·Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. ·Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels. ·A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
