Highly Specialist Radiographer Team Lead | Angiography | Full Time | Permanent | Leeds - LS8 Spire Leeds are looking for a Highly Specialist Radiographer Team Leader who is specialised in Angiography to join the Imaging Department on a full time, permanent basis. Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region's largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week Duties and responsibilities To take the highly specialist lead role in the imaging field of Angiography radiology. Provide specialist education and teaching and lead departmental research and audit in this field. To ensure the team delivers effective care to clients requiring radiology imaging by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership. To act as a specialist Diagnostic imaging resource for the multi disciplinary team and radiographers within Spire. To promote and assist in marketing of services developments to GPs and Consultants. To undertake evidence based projects, including recommendations for change in practice. Develop Practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs Develop practice in addressing individuals health and wellbeing needs Establish and maintain communication with various individuals and groups on complex potentially stressful topics, across a range of situations. Develop own highly skilled and professional knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop. Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security. Assist the Diagnostic Imaging Manager in the development of strategies and policies for service improvement. Improve Quality Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice Delegate work to others Determine the effective use of physical and financial resources Undertake human resource activities for all members of the team Assist with research and development Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAIWho we're looking for Degree (BSc Hons) or Equivalent HCPC Registered with no restrictions Post grad experience in Angiography Experience of Clinical Leadership Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied cases.
