Vision for Education are actively recruiting a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for a local primary school in Cardiff. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their dynamic team and support pupils across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to pupils across all key stages.
- Cover classes in the absence of class teacher.
- Supporting and engaging with pupils with learning on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Work alongside the class teacher with various tasks and day preparation.
- Perform general administrative tasks.
- Passionately deliver the best education experience for children.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification.
- Enthusiasm and passion for education.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English.
- Ability to speak Welsh (preferred, not essential).
