Hunter Professional are recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Skip Drivers to work for our client in #southampton
Job Description: We are seeking highly skilled and reliable full-time Class 2 HGV Skip Drivers (Category C) to join our team. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
As a key member of our fleet, you will be responsible for providing a safe, efficient, and professional delivery and collection service, while ensuring high standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the HGV skip vehicle safely and efficiently to complete scheduled deliveries, collections.
Ensure that all vehicle checks, maintenance, and safety protocols are adhered to before, during, and after each shift.
Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary paperwork related to vehicle inspections, deliveries and collections.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service at all times.
Comply with all legal and company regulations, including driving hours, safety, and environmental policies.
Key Requirements:
Class 2 HGV Licence (Category C) – Essential CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) – Essential Digi Card – Essential Previous experience as a skip Driver is highly desirable (minimum of 1 year).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.
Pay:
£13.50 per hour
