DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Engineering with a specialism in Heavy Vehicles. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, act as a Programme Tutor for apprentices, and ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum. This role involves both teaching and pastoral responsibilities, with a focus on student progression and achievement. Essential Requirements: Relevant Heavy Vehicle qualification at Level 3. Minimum Level 2 Maths and English. Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the relevant curriculum. Proven high standard of teaching skills or potential to attain outstanding teaching. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality and diversity.Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and innovative teaching sessions in the Motor Vehicle department. Act as a Programme Tutor, managing a caseload of apprentices. Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, and progress tracking. Embrace and integrate new learning technologies. Monitor student attendance, behaviour, and progress, taking appropriate action as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and maintain high standards.
