HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver - Southampton
Are you a looking for a dynamic and rewarding career in container transport?
TLP Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join our team at a leading container logistics company based in Southampton.
About the Role:
In this tramper driver position, you will be responsible for the long-haul transportation of containers across the UK. You will be working Monday to Friday with guaranteed 10-hour shifts and overtime available after 10 hours. The starting pay rate is £14 per hour.
What You'll Do:
* Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
* Deliver and collect containers to designated locations throughout the UK
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
* Comply with all road safety regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and the logistics team
* Maintain accurate records of your journeys and deliveries
