HGV CLASS 1 SHUNTER £16.19ph, Overtime after 45 hours paid at £24.29PH - Working Monday to Friday weekly rotating 05:30-14:30 AM /15:00-00:00 PM - Paid breaks Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Shunter for our client based in Burnaston, Derbyshire. The HGV Class 1 Shunter Role:- Working Monday to Friday weekly rotating 05:30-14:30 AM  /15:00-00:00 PM Be responsible for the movement and positioning of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) within a busy prodcution plant Safely maneuvering HGVs ensuring proper positioning for loading, unloading & parking Operate shunting equipment or vehicles with precision Collaborate with warehouse or logistics personnel to coordinate the movement of HGVs according to operational needs Follow instructions to optimize the flow of goods and materials Assist in the loading and unloading process by positioning HGVs at designated docks or loading bays Ensure proper alignment for efficient cargo transfer Adhere to strict safety guidelines for shunting operations, including awareness of pedestrians and other vehicles Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, HGV drivers, or supervisors to coordinate shunting activitiesThe successful HGV Class 1 Shunter must have the following:- Hold a full UK HGV 1 licence for more than 2 years Have no more than 6 minor speeding points Have check able driving history of more than 6 months in the last 2 years.
