Location of the HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter - Exeter
Salary HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter – £35,100.00 (£15ph x 45 hr week) plus overtime
Working Hours of the HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter – Monday to Friday 45 hour week - days
My client is looking for an HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter, due to the previous Driver retiring soon, for their successful Business in the Exeter area. The HGV Driver must have an HGV Class 1 Licence, you will be required to move vehicles to and from the depots. This role will also require you to take trucks for MOT, move them around the yard. This job will not be particularly busy every day so you will also be doing Yard Hand Duties and other small jobs to assist the Depot and Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter who is looking to slow down and not do long distance HGV Driving. The runs are local and short so it is a nice, steady little Driving role.
Key Responsibilities of a HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter :
* The role is to collect and deliver HGVs / trailers
* Collecting and delivering vehicles for repairs
* Moving HGVs around the depot and to other depots
* Taking Trucks to MOT
* General yard shunting
* General Yard Hand duties
* Represent the business in a professional and courteous manner
* Successful upkeep of company mandatory paperwork
* Adhoc Driver duties
Qualities of a HGV Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Yard Hand / HGV Shunter :
* Previous driving experience desired
* Class 1 HGV Driving licence
* Flexible
