Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations.
Perform deliveries and collections in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Complete relevant paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle checks.
Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks before and after each shift.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving.
Skills and Experience Required:
Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving license.
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Digital tachograph card.
Previous experience in HGV driving, preferably in express freight or delivery services.
Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A positive and proactive attitude.
