📍 Location: Workshop-based with UK & Global Travel
💰 Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 basic | £60,000 OTE with working away

The Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering company that provides servicing, repairs, and maintenance for heavy vehicles, driveline systems, and industrial equipment. They are looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team, working both in the workshop and on-site across the UK and internationally.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and overhaul of drivetrain and mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, gears, and fluid couplings. You’ll split your time between workshop-based repairs and on-site servicing, ensuring that machinery remains fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty drivetrain and mechanical systems (engines, transmissions, gears, flywheels, and fluid couplings).
✅ Work in the workshop and travel for on-site servicing across the UK and internationally.
✅ Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
✅ Ensure all work meets high industry and safety standards.
✅ Provide technical support and liaise with customers on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
🔧 Time-served with experience in heavy plant, HGV, marine, or industrial equipment.
🔧 A problem-solving attitude, with the flexibility to travel for work when needed.
🔧 Open to candidates from private sector, public sector, or military backgrounds.
