Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are looking for full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our maintenance team based in our Waterford depot.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a full range of routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all types of trucks, buses, and coaches
* Carry out diagnostics on all vehicles as well as any unscheduled maintenance issues both on and off site
* Maintain and present vehicles for MOT/CVRT
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all H&S procedures
* Complete all necessary paperwork for inspections and defect rectification
* Liaise with the parts department for required parts
* Communicate effectively with engineers and drivers, providing support to colleagues
* Participate in ongoing training
* Ability to work on weekends (on-call roster rotation)
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified Heavy Vehicle (HV) Mechanic
* Minimum 2-5 years of experience repairing heavy vehicles
* Proven diagnostic capabilities with good computer skills
* Organised, self-motivated, and a team player with a strong sense of commitment
* A full driving licence is essential
* Holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage however, driver training can be provided to the successful applicant
