Job Description

Heat Pumps Technical Manager, Newcastle based, c£55k+car+bonus. Are you looking for: * An opportunity to develop your own division? * An employer that will back you and invest in you and your team? * Potential of running a major part of the group's UK business, sky's the limit. THE ROLE * Running a dedicated technical team for heat pumps. * Ensuring customers receive the best technical service and response in relation to product advice, technical support, breakdowns and product supply. * Management of a small team to include field engineers and in-house technical support engineers. This team will expand as the division continues to grow. * In addition, you'll be involved with product training for heat pump installers and service engineers, creating content and marketing tools with support of the office to deliver 1st class courses. * Helping support and drive the division, which already has substantial turnover, and working with the senior management team to ensure growth is achieved. THE PERSON Essential: * A strong technical background in air source heat pumps. * Most likely you'll be an ex-engineer, working in install, service or commissioning. * Office and man-management experience required. Desired: * Experience of providing in-house technical support and training is preferred but not essential. * Previous and/or current role as a Technical Manager, Technical Support Manager, Service Manager preferred. * Flexibility to travel to customer sites, training centres and supporting engineers. THE PACKAGE A basic salary up to £55k, pending on background and experience. Company Car or car allowance, performance related bonus and excellent company benefits to include 25 days holiday. THE LOCATION You'll be based out of the Newcastle office. Applicants will ideally be within a 1 hour commute
