Health Safety Quality Manager
Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role in Wrexham
Working hours: M-F 9am -5pm
The role:
Health Safety Quality Manager required for a reputable manufacturing company who will be responsible for the BRC and FSC accreditation as well as aspects of Health and Safety.
Main Duties of the Health Safety Quality Manager:
Carrying out internal BRC and FSC Audits.
Creating and reviewing risk assessments (COSH and DSEAR assessments)
Investigating all accidents and near misses reporting (RIDDOR)
Working with senior management, keeping them up to date with current legislation ensuring site wide HSE compliance.
Assisting the shop floor to perform more efficiently, promoting environmental improvements.
Identify employee training needs and developing and delivering training as required.
Preparing permits to work for contractors.
Ensure contractors work to site standards.
Candidate:
The successfully appointed Health Safety Quality Manager will have:
Hold NEBOSH or equivalent or be time served with the willingness to complete the NEBOSH (paid for by the company)
Working knowledge of BRC and FSC
Manufacturing background
Additional skills/job titles: H&S Officer, NEBOSH, EHS Advisor, Health and Safety Assistant, Quality Manager.
