Job Description
Role: Health & Safety Office
Location: Huntingdon Cambridgeshire
Hours: Mon – Thurs 08.30am – 5pm, Friday 08.30pm – 4.30pm
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
My client is a family run business just outside of Huntingdon Cambridgeshire and we are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Compliance Officer who is passionate and committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

What will you be doing in the health & safety officer role?
Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices
Performance monitoring and compliance
Collating statistical information for health and safety management
Evidence compliance within auditing
Undertake inspections on site and working at heights
Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets
Development of a robust management system and assisting the directors finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward and supporting the Senior Staff to Lead the H&S initiatives.
What we would like from you:
NEBOSH L3 qualification or equivalent.
Fire Safety IOSH
Strong background in Warehouse, Logistics and manufacturing.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects
Experience of collaborating with all levels to create and maintain H&S policies, processes and risk assessments.
Policy/Process/Quality Control knowledge
