Our client have an immediate requirement for a Health & Safety Coordinator / Manager on a Freelance basis for a 12 month contract duration.
Project location - Ashby-De-La-Zouch
Experience on automation systems and machinery safety requirements
Experience on coordinating HS topics under CDM regulations
NEBOSH qualifications
IOSH membership
PUWER assessments
Work tasks:
Working on site from 8am to 4pm, five days per week
Management of safety paperwork + our subcontractors Site registers, Temporary Work register, HS records, inductions, tool box talks, etc.
Review the companies & subcontractors RAMS, provide feedback and suggestions for corrections + submitting these to Principal Contractor
Acting as the direct contact between Principal contractor HS department and the companies site team / operatives.
Conduct safety walk rounds on a daily basis
Give corrective instructions to personnel who are not compliant with rules
Confirm Plant and Tools are in proper shape and tagged/inspected regularly (PUWER)
Nice to have’s:
AP qualification and knowledge to create lifting plans
Face fit trainee qualification
