Job Description
Specialists in providing engineered above ground drainage and water supply systems, Polypipe Building Services leverages offsite fabrication to design and deliver solutions to mechanical and public health engineers, M&E contractors as well as local authorities. Polypipe Building Services houses well-known industry brand Terrain and has been delivering systems to commercial, high rise residential, healthcare, education and leisure projects for over 50 years.
Overview: To support the site services and safety processes within the management system to assure customer satisfaction, employee safety and site infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Safety checks and audits for Site, including conducting and documenting and assisting external statutory inspections
*
Ensure PPE stocks are maintained, and PPE issued to agreed rules
*
Maintain access to mechanical locks across site and issue of keys/cards, for Electronic access equipment
*
Management of company uniform and distribution to work force.
*
Monitor and review system documents ensuring correct issue status and audit of changes
*
Administration of See It Sort It reports, level 1 and level 2 audits
*
Issue Permits to Work for External contractors as required, maintain contractor files and supervision of permits as required
Skills & Requirements:
*
Good understanding of Environment, Health and Safety matters appertaining to the company
*
Working knowledge of integrated Management System related standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
*
Time management skills – ability to plan and execute work within agreed timescales
*
Ability to conduct internal audits
*
Competent in accurately recording results, inspections and audits in clear legible manner consistent with the requirements of the respective standard.

Good communication skills
Working hours and benefits:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (3pm finish on Fridays)
