Health & Safety Administrator / Coordinator YORK Permanent c£35K | Plus Bens My client is a construction supplier that specialises in distributing specialist materials worldwide and is a leader in their market. They are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Administrator / Coordinator. This is a fabulous opportunity for either a recent graduate, an entry level H&S employee looking for a fresh challenge or someone looking to take the next step in their H&S career. This is a newly created role as part of the expansion of the H&S team and you will report into a dynamic and forward thinking National Health & Safety Manager, who will provide ongoing support and mentor you in your exciting journey. You are / have * Someone who is organised, agile, a completer and a task finisher. * A keen eye for detail, activity completion, and continual improvement of standards and processes; * Exceptional organisation and a process thinking mindset, with a knowledge of ISO frameworks * Key scheduling and documentation management experience, as well as an excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications * Exceptional communication skills; * Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise, with excellent attention to detail; * A strong ability to analyse data and generate proactive KPIs using Power BI; * The ability to enhance processes and procedures, aiming for ongoing, incremental advancements in efficiency, quality, and performance. Key Responsibilities * Working closely with the National H&S Manager, supporting the Health & Safety team to plan, develop and coordinate. * You will schedule meetings and face to face regional H&S meetings, as well as providing minutes and action tracking. * You will review Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the internal branch contractor work and also provide relevant permits. * You will become the specialist expert for their new H&S management platform (MY Compliance). * Deploy administrative compliance of the H&S plan across the Group * Become the “Super-User” and trainer for the new H&S system, including MYCompliance, iHasco and future systems. * Provide Incident report monitoring and corrective action tracking * Document management system development and maintenance of information on Sharepoint which is aligned with ISO45001 * Maintain risk assessment, training and other H&S trackers for review and updates etc. Then we need to hear from you NOW!!!
