What is the Purpose of the Health & Safety Co-Ordinator?
As the health & Safety Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of safety systems, procedures and safe systems of work. You'll ensure compliance within quality by following the UFAS accreditation and environmental by working in line with the site permit. You will work closely with the Site Manager and site team, by supporting the development of production to maintain high productivity whilst ensuring a ‘no compromise’ approach with regards to health, safety, quality and compliance.
What will be the Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Co-Ordinator?
Drive the Continuous improvement agenda by reviewing and documenting processes and procedures. Creation of SOP’’s, SWP’s, RA and toolbox talks.
Participation in internal and external audits - Lead traceability exercises, own the action plan and communication process. Control the sites key documentation.
Maintain approved contractor, compliance and service registers.
PPM schedule Adherence - Working collaboratively with the engineering team to complete key KPI’s, documentation such as RAMS and permits to work.
Responsible for managing the sites staff training matrix, MyHR and Holiday allowance.
Health and Safety - Diarised Monthly GOA’s and live action plan.
Attend the fortnightly safety meeting. Near Miss management and updating of notify.
Record damaged and ageing stock.
Monthly checks of First Aid boxes, Spill Kits, Emergency lights and Fire extinguishers.
Undertake ad-hoc duties and responsibilities directed by the Site Manager and Operations Manager.
