Job Description

Health and Safety Adviser Our established and well know client-based to the west of Oswestry is looking for a full time temporary health and safety adviser for a three month contract, to join and help the existing team with administrative tasks and operational procedures. The role is primarily focused on delivering hands-on health and safety support to site teams, giving the candidate a fantastic opportunity to interact with site teams, driving forward a positive health and safety culture through building relationships, across a variety of department such as feed production & transport management, keeping the role varied on a day to day basis. The Successful Health and Safety Advisor/Administrator will be responsible for: • Reviewing and assisting with risk assessments, method statements and SOPs. • Reviewing and writing operational procedures for the feed mill and transport departments (Experience of process mapping advantageous) • Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy • Assisting departments in the successful delivery of toolbox • Conducting site audits and site inspections • Providing advice and support to all departments • Building positive relationships with on-site teams to drive forward a positive health and safety culture. The Successful Health and Safety Advisor/Administrator will hold: • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum. • Experience within the Feed Manufacturing, Transport Management, industry or similar industries. • Experience communicating across all levels within an organisation Salary £18 - £20 per hour, depending on level of experience. Hours This role is 5 days a week (Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with 1 hour unpaid for lunch) for the three months If you are interested in the vacancy please click to APPLY
