We are pleased to be working with an established education provider near Telford to recruit a new Health and Safety Manager to the business.
Managing a Health and Safety Advisor and Administrator and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be managing safety with a strategic and proactive approach.
You will be working alongside staff at all levels across various departments to promote safe working and a positive culture.
As Health and Safety Manager you will:
Develop and maintain an affective Health and Safety management system across the site – implementing policies, procedures, and best practice
Provide guidance and advice on safety matters to staff and management across all departments
Manage the Health and Safety audit programme, following up on actions and escalating where required
Present reports on safety performance, trends, and plans to senior management and board members
Work with the Health and Safety team to conduct inspections and risk assessments to identify key risks and implement suitable measures Why this could be an excellent opportunity for you:

A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
The skills to engage with, influence, and collaborate with various levels of stakeholders
A proactive and strategic approach to managing health and safety
