Job Description
My Wolverhampton based Distribution client are looking for a Head of Sales to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
This is a superb opportunity to become part of the senior leadership team and drive the business forward.
Duties will include:-
* Develop and implement the company's overall sales strategy and plan.
* Set and track sales goals and targets.
* Forecast sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve targets.
* Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel.
* Provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
* Manage the sales pipeline and ensure effective sales processes.
* Implement and maintain sales tools and technologies.
* Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to align sales efforts.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
* Understand customer needs and preferences.
* Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
* Lead presentations and engage with key stakeholders.
* Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts.
* Use data to inform decision-making and improve sales performance.
Key Skills:-
* Must have worked in a Senior lead position within Sales
* Proven capability of increasing sales growth
* If you have worked within Distribution / Manufacturing this would be advantageous
* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment with ability to drive the sales team and enhance business growth
* Experience in Sales strategy and planning
* Forward thinking and proactive in nature
* Excellent communication skills and be able to lead from the frontBefore You Apply
