They offer a full end-to-end service, from consultation and design to installation, ensuring every customer receives a seamless experience. Their key product offerings include bespoke indoor kitchens, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and wardrobes. We are currently seeking a skilled and highly organized Head of Projects to join their West London-based team and oversee the planning, communication, and delivery of multiple projects. Role Overview: As the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are managed from inception to completion with precision and efficiency. The role demands strong leadership, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to meet project objectives. You will be responsible for managing finances, coordinating suppliers and installers, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: • Project Communication & Customer Liaison: Maintain proactive and effective communication with customers throughout all project phases to ensure satisfaction and alignment with expectations. • Financial Ownership: Manage all project finances, including invoicing, bills, change orders, and credits, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets. • Supplier & Installer Coordination: Oversee and coordinate all project suppliers, fitters, installers, and third-party partners to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery. • Project Scheduling: Manage the installation diary and project timelines to ensure they align with the overall project schedule. • Project Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous control over project files, shared documents, and design versions to ensure accuracy and consistency. • End-to-End Process Ownership: Own and enforce the end-to-end project management process to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard. • Team Management: Build, nurture, and manage a team of quality tradespeople and installers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. • Quality Control & Review: Lead the project review process, evaluating performance and lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery. • Project Performance Management: Utilize Pipedrive and other tools to track project performance and ensure all aspects are accurately captured. • Vehicle & Supplier Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of company vehicles, as well as work with Purchasing to maintain a current list of approved suppliers. • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Design teams to ensure seamless project execution from initial sale to final delivery. • Coaching & Development: Mentor, coach, and manage direct reports, promoting growth, learning, and a strong team culture. Key Requirements: • Proven experience in project management, ideally within the KBB (kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms) industry, though experience in luxury interiors or construction management is also highly valued. • Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets, invoices, and financial documentation. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to lead and coordinate a variety of stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and internal teams. • A hands-on approach with an eye for detail, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively. • Exceptional communication skills, both with clients and internal teams. • Experience with project management software (e.g., Pipedrive, Excel) is preferred. • Leadership and coaching skills to manage a team effectively.
