Job Description
We are working with a Principal Contractor who are seeking a Head of HSE to join their team on several frameworks in the Energy sector. As the Head of HSE you will lead a team of SHE Advisors across the UK and report into the SHEQ Director overseeing projects in the Gas network.

Responsibilities:
* Provide appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality input into the tender and contract award process
* Act as a point of contact for advice and expertise on Health & Safety matters to the project teams
* Provide environmental and sustainability advice and expertise towards meeting targets, metrics and net zero
* Lead the preparation of accident investigations, to establish root causes and communicate learning points to prevent re-occurence
* Challenge existing working methods to incoporate good practice during both the design and construction phases
* Have an in depth knowledge and provide advice on CDM regulation requirements
What do we need from you?
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry - Gas, Rail, Power Overhead Lines
* Diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Safety or considerable Utilites experience
* CMIOSH or working towards
* Current full UK driving license
