5V Tech is working with a trusted partner, a leading software company located in Munich. They are searching for an experienced and hands-on Lead/Senior Engineer to join their forward-thinking company as their new Head of Engineering.

What You’ll Do
Lead and Scale the Team: Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team across multiple locations, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Drive Product Development: Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software aligned with the product roadmap.
Optimize Processes: Implement and refine development processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Champion Technology: Advocate for and evangelize the current tech stack, while bringing creative ideas for future architectures and tools.
Ensure Robustness: Oversee the security, scalability, and performance of the platform to support rapid growth.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals.What You’ll Bring
Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with modern cloud-based SaaS technologies, including:
Java/Spring Boot (essential)
AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgres
React for front-end development
DevOps practices using Terraform and Grafana
Leadership Experience: A track record of building, mentoring, and inspiring engineering teams.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Capable of stepping in during challenging situations and guiding the team through growth and technical complexity.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic and Hands-On: Balances big-picture thinking with the ability to dive into technical details when needed.Why This Role?
